Welcome to the new Archangel Michael & St Bishoy Coptic orthodox Church Website under the Guidence of HG Bishop Daniel, Bishop of Sydney and its Affiliated regions
The church was first established by the Late Very Reverend
Father Mina Nematalla on the 1st June 1980. The church consisted of a small aluminium portable. In 1982, the Church was burnt down by vandals.

This was the catalyst to building the current church building which was opened by the then NSW Premier the Honourable Barry Unsworth on the 13th Sept 1987.
Since then the Church has opened a Sunday School building which also includes an "English" Church as well as St.Bishoy's Coptic College which caters from K-6 on the same site as the church.
The Very Reverend Father Antonios Kaldas has joined the service at Archangel Michael shortly after being ordained in June 1991, Father Botros Morkos in 1999-2000, Father Gabriel Yassa in July 2001 and Father Bishoy Botros in July 2004.
